6 Helpful Tips for Healthy Maintenance

You can use these helpful tools to encourage the body to detoxify during the cleanse! These tools may be found on the internet or in your local health food stores.

Tip 1 – Read About Cleansing

Read up on cleansing! Don’t just take a company’s word for how great it’s product is – read up on it! There are many great health authors and published doctors that can educate and provide helpful insight into the world of cleansing and detoxification! Each one has their own perspective. Some write about the historical evidence and past authors’ research and some from their own experiences. Reading a variety of authors will help you make up your own mind on what path to take with your own health.

Tip 2 – Dry Skin Brushing

Dry skin brushing helps to stimulate the skin’s elimination and lymph glands. This stimulation encourages cell reproduction and helps accelerate the removal of toxins via the skin – the largest eliminating organ of the body!

Using a natural, dry skin brush, brush toward the heart – starting at the extremities. For example, start from the wrists and brush up toward the shoulders or start at the ankle and brush upward toward the thigh. After you are finished, just rinse off your body and brush in the shower.

Start off slowly and lightly. At first your skin may be sensitive, but if you do this daily, it will get used to it. Don’t be alarmed if your skin is slightly flush.

Tip 3 – Slant Board Exercising

A slant board can offer great benefits in toning the abdomen and the abdominal organs! You can do simple exercises while on the slant board and simultaneously provide the gravity needed to supply blood to the heart and brain – which can help their functions.

Start off slowly, gradually increasing the exercises as you get stronger in the abdominal region. It is NOT recommended to use the slant board in the cases of high blood pressure, hemorrhages, some tubercular conditions, cancer in the pelvic cavity, appendicitis, ulcers of the stomach or intestines, or pregnancy – unless under the care of a physician.

Tip 4 – Rebounding (using a mini trampoline)

Rebounding provides excellent benefits such as toning the body. During a cleanse, light rebounding for about 5 to 10 minutes can stimulate circulation of the blood – which supplies the organs, tissues, and cells of the body as well as carries away the waste and worn out parts.

Gently jog in place on the mini trampoline. Swing your arms and lift your knees up. You may also use slight twisting motions of the upper torso.

Tip 5 – Hand Blender Mixing

When mixing your “Cleansing Drink” (the Vit-Ra-Tox #16 Detoxificant and #19 Intestinal Cleanser), you can use the old fashioned jar with a lid to shake the mixture together. Or, you can use this quick and very multi-use hand blender to mix it! (It takes just 2 seconds!) No powder clumps…just a smooth drink!

Pour about one inch (or two tablespoons) of your choice of fruit juice into a wide mouth glass. Add 1-2 tablespoons of the #16 Detoxificant liquid and 1 rounded teaspoon of the #19 Intestinal Cleanser powder to your glass. Insert the hand blender and zap! – blend for just 1 or 2 seconds! Drink quickly!

Tip 6 – Supplement Organizer

Preparing ahead can save you time and keep you on track with your cleansing schedule…no matter where you are!

Get organized by purchasing a Weekly AM/PM Pill Container or Organizer at your local pharmacy. Both smaller and bigger organizers are often available for purchase as well. The supplements can be portioned out for each cleansing set you will do for that day. In doing this, you have the exact amount of everything you need to take at your finger tips! You can also take it on the run. Don’t forget to bring along a bottle of water to swallow them with.

Insert the appropriate amount of the Greenlife® tablets, Wheat Germ/Flaxseed Oil capsules, Vitamin C tablets, and Beet tablets into each compartment of the organizer. Just pop one compartment open when it’s time to take your supplements – and they are all right there, ready to go!

This is a great time saver and avoids opening and closing the original bottles – exposing them to oxygen and deterioration.
